Why Chris Evans Should Go On A Date With Me

If you haven’t paid attention, Chris Evans has a new movie out, The Gray Man. This, of course, means lots of interviews to promote the movie, which also stars Ryan Gosling and Regé-Jean Page (hello Duke!), as well as Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thorton, and Julia Butters. In a recent interview with Shondaland, Evans gave a refreshingly honest answer to Interviewer Mariel Turner’s question about what he’s laser-focused on in real life.

Evans answer: “finding a partner.”

I have the same goal. And so I’m entering my name. Yes, I think Chris Evans and I should go on a date.

The Reasons Why (or Dating in My 40s)

After a relatively long hiatus, I’ve started dating again. And I’ve been having so.much.fun.

The last time I actively dated was in my early/mid-30s. I went out with some great guys (one in particular who was fantastic), but we were in different places in life with different priorities. And life happened. I got busy focusing on my new career, I moved a couple times (which wasn’t conducive to building a relationship), and several years passed. Perfect on Paper

When writing about yourself, your story is just that . . . your story. You script your life to meet whatever end you need. You can neglect the bad, highlight the awesome, and accentuate the funny.

In other words, you can be perfect . . . at least on paper.

Or you attempt to do the above but fail . . . sometimes spectacularly so (and sometimes crash and burn amidst the bad grammar).
