Today I thought it would be fun to explain how I approach working a jigsaw puzzle.
How I start a puzzle all depends on the puzzle itself. Factors I consider are the puzzle shape (round, square, rectangle, unusual), the puzzle cut (ribbon or random), the image, and the colors.
My most recent puzzle, Color Wheel by Blue Kazoo Games (one of my new favorite puzzle makers), was a round, rainbow gradient. For fun, I opted to start in the middle and work out in a spiral to the edge.

I loved working this puzzle and this is one I will keep. So next time I work it, I might try it from the outside and work in. Or maybe I’ll work on one color at a time.
And since I get questions on how I work puzzles, I thought would be fun to do a short video to show how I do approach a new puzzle.
Stay tuned to find out how this puzzle turns out! Until then, follow me on Instagram for puzzles and more!
