These pages are more for me than anyone. But I thought some of you might be interested in keeping up with my daily totals (or sometimes lack thereof).
The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. NaNoWriMo has determined that 50,000 words is an achievable goal for anyone, even full-time working parents. And although a novel of 50,000 words is on the shorter side, is long enough to be considered a novel. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is approximately 50,000 words.
To achieve 50,000 words by November 30, NaNoWriMo recommends 1,667 words per day.
