PSA on ISPs for October 17, 2017

So here’s my lesson learned for the week. I share this with you all so you can learn from my mistakes.

In this modern age of technology, internet service providers (ISPs) are a must-have. Without a internet at home, I cannot stream binge Netflix, check my email or Facebook or any other social media, work on my blog, lose hours on Pinterest. And did I mention Netflix? Sure, I can use my phone and my data plan to do these things, but that becomes burdensome and potentially expensive (or at least slow when AT&T decides I’ve logged enough time). There’s a New Sam in Town

Well, I did it. I broke down and bought a new laptop. I’m not completely giving up on my iMac George. George still has some ability left—it’s just he couldn’t hold a wifi signal. I’d be surfing along and all the signal would drop for no reason. Full bars, no interference. It would just drop.

I tried all sorts of remedies to fix George. But to no avail. (Although I did stop short of wiping and reinstalling his OS. That’s just too much right now.)

So since I still have George, I opted for a Chromebook.
