Somehow, someway, I have committed myself to 5 different reading challenges. That’s right. Five.
I blame Litsy (mostly).
I also blame Litsy for my exponentially growing TBR, so much so, that I put myself on a book buying ban earlier this month.
(Of course, I may have already broken that ban when I received an email today from Subterranean Press about a special edition of Kevin Hearne’s Hexed, book 2 of the Iron Druid Chronicles. Everyone once in a while, I will put an inquiry out on Facebook for new reads. (Because I don’t have enough in my actual to-read pile (only 18) or on my Goodreads to-read shelf (a mere 345)).
Among the many recommendations I got a few months ago was John Scalzi’s Redshirts.
I receive newsletters from several of my favorite modern authors. I got one today from one such fave author and in it, he gave his newsletter subscribers a heads’ up that he is doing a limited run of an annotated edition of one of his new books via PageHabit.
