Greetings from Italy!

I’m in Italy today, but on Wednesday I head out on my next adventure.

Octobers are always my big travel month—I take off at least a week. (It helps that there’s a U.S. holiday mid-month.) Last October, I did 3 countries in 10 days.

This year, I’ll be gone for 11 days but only 1 country.

Where am I going? Three clues:

1. The flight is nearly 4 hours and we travel to a different time zone
2. A place of extreme contrasts, where rocky highlands transition into a sea of sand. We will experience at least 3 vastly different landscapes.
3. A place of vibrant woven rugs, mint tea, and the timeless traditions of the indigenous people.
